Usage Guide:  Apply the following rates of fertilizer in the spring and during the middle of the growing season.  Water your plants after fertilizing.

Container Gardening:  Mix the fertilizer and potting soil together in the spring.  Apply fertilizer at the surface of the potting soil mid-season

Traditional Gardening:  1 ½ lb per 10 row ft or 2/3 cup per plant.  Apply the fertilizer 3-4 inches from the plants at planting and repeat during the middle of the growing season.
