Liquid Kelp Concentrate Organic Fertilizer
Liquid Kelp Concentrate is a natural and organic seaweed-derived product that contains all the micro-elements from A to Z; growth plant hormones, vitamins, enzymes and carbohydrates. It’s a bio-stimulant, root system developer, and minor-nutrient deficiency cure, though the amounts of traditional NPK fertilizer components are relatively low. It can be used in conjunction with any water-soluble spray. A great solution for finishing crops without the fish emulsion component of other liquid fertilizers.
Beneficial for seeds, bulbs, seedlings, indoor plants, outdoor plants and vegetables, berries and grapes, as well as crops including corn, soybeans, grains, alfalfa, root and tuber vegetables (potatoes, carrots, beets, turnips, radishes, etc). See below for detailed application instructions.
Soaking Seeds with Liquid Kelp
Whether starting seeds in the greenhouse for transplanting or direct seeding, soaking your seeds in seaweed extract solution can help your plants start quickly. It will also help them grow stronger, with a larger root mass and a better chance to survive all season long. Seaweed is loaded with natural growth hormones and contains many beneficial trace elements. A key hormone available in seaweed, gibberellic acid, is a potent germination promoter. Gibberellic acid triggers the release of enzymes in seeds that begin the germination process. Soaking seeds overnight in seaweed extracts may increase germination rates by up to 25%. Soaking plant roots in seaweed extract also reduces transplant shock and speeds root growth.
Benefits of Liquid Kelp
Liquid kelp carries many benefits along with it. Its naturally high iodine content helps to repel insects and increase nutrient synthesis in the growing plant. Kelp also contains cytokinins which are plant growth stimulants. These cytokinins occur naturally in kelp and are one of the reasons that kelp grows over 40 feet long. They encourage the plant to continue nutrient absorption and growth throughout the growing season.
